Sandra Bechtel, MBA

CEO/President

Understanding from direct experience that private practice healthcare facilities could benefit greatly from business expertise, Sandy founded the company in 1990. After receiving her Masters Degree in Business Administration, she combined her clinical background as an RN, Nurse Practitioner and Radiologic Technologist to build a solid foundation for the future. Her management experience as a co-owner of a medical clinic added the necessary business skills. Sandy then began our long-held tradition of blending expertise from complimentary knowledge areas to offer clients better ideas and solutions. A “hands-on” president, Sandy is directly involved in all aspects of MBA HealthGroup’s billing, consulting and electronic health record solutions.

Lauren Parker

Chief Executive Director/VP

Lauren is one of the region’s most sought-after healthcare experts. With in-depth knowledge of medical billing, insurance, operations and information management, Lauren has decades of direct experience with medical practices, providing solutions to overcome the challenges of today’s healthcare system. As a sales and support associate for a practice management system vendor, Lauren developed a strong understanding of the intricacies of billing systems. Overseeing all billing operations at MBA HealthGroup, Lauren has developed improved protocols and systems for hundreds of providers over the years.

Ethan Bechtel

Chief Operating Officer

Ethan has been highly involved in the growth of MBA HealthGroup since 2004.  Originally an EHR Implementation Consultant, he spent 2004-2005 attempting to increase the company’s involvement in electronic health record implementations and support nationwide.  His current role allows him to not only oversee our Implementations Department and our Support Department, but he also manages all sales and marketing functions across all company products and services.

Nicholas Junjulas

Executive Director of Consulting

Nick joined MBA HealthGroup in 2008 and was charged with managing our staff consultants working with hospital administrators, practice managers, physicians, and practice staff.  His experience in physician relations at Fletcher Allen Health Care, a 500 bed hospital in Burlington, Vermont, puts him in an excellent position to also work directly with physicians to accomplish their goals.
