MBA HealthGroup is looking for a knowledgeable, reliable, organized, and dedicated Systems Administrator in the Burlington, Vermont area. General Responsibilities:

• System Administrator - 3+ years experience.   This includes managing the deployment and maintenance of a rock-solid 24×7 Microsoft SQL/IIS application running on a hosted infrastructure
• Building processes around scalable systems to ensure they are reliable, secure, and robust
• Build and manage a smooth deployment process
• Disaster recovery, monitoring,  security, scalability, load balancing, redundancy and handling of daily backups

Requirements:  

• Multi-faceted systems administration skills including Windows server administration (IIS, AD, security, etc), administration of network infrastructure, documentation, evaluation of new technologies, etc.
• Knowledge of Windows client operating systems
• Dynamic application troubleshooter and creative problem solver extraordinaire
• 3+ years of Microsoft SQL Server 2005/2000 database administration experience 
• Provide staff training and guidance as needed
• Ability to meet deadlines and work with minimal supervision and guidance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills
• Attentiveness to detail with strong organizational skills.
• Rotating work schedule with periodic availability nights and weekends is required.
• Applicant must speak and write in fluent English

Desired Qualifications:

• Allscripts EHR and PM experience
• Citrix/XEN administration  
• Experience with administration of firewalls, VPN's, TCP/IP, switches, routing, etc.
• Power and UPS administration
